A local monastery tour to Nubra Valley that passes over highest motorable road Khardung La to even visiting the remotest region of Ladakh, Turtuk as well as capture the beauty of the statue of Maitreya Buddha. In our 11D/10N Ladakh photo tour, we will guide you to capture amazing landscape and learn various types of portraits. Our package will take you to witness the confluence of Indus and Zanskar River and travel through amazing places capturing images in Leh - Nubra Valley - Turtuk. You can click on the shutter button multitudinously as you onward your tour to landmarks like Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, statue of Maitreya Buddha, Stok Monastery and Stakna Monastery.   • Day 1 - Arrive Leh
  • On arrival at Leh Airport, you will meet our representative and you will be transferred to the selected hotel. You can have complete rest for the day.

    (The flight to Leh will give you an opportunity to see the peaks of K2, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum and Nun Kun massif)

  • Day 2 - Leh Local Monastery Photography Tour
  • After early morning breakfast, you will be driven to Sham Valley. Here, you can visit the Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Magnetic Hill and witness the confluence of Indus and Zanskar River. This will be followed by a visit to the Leh market in the evening. Overnight at Leh will be followed.

  • Day 3 - Leh– Nubra Valley (120 Km / 4-5 Hours)
  • After breakfast, get ready to drive to Nubra Valley. This road trip will give you beautiful sights, it passes over Khardung La (The Highest Motorable Road In The World) it is around 40 km from Leh. Upon arrival in Nubra Valley, you can check in at the Camp / Hotel in Hunder, dinner and overnight at the camp will follow.

    (From Khardung La, one can see the Indus valley and ridges of the Zanskar range. On the north, you can also see the Saser Massif. This popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers is seated in the northern Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas with an altitude about 10,000 ft. above sea level)

  • Day 4 - Day In Nubra Valley
  • You will be taken for a village walk early morning and after breakfast, you can proceed for sightseeing around Nubra Valley. Here, you can visit Diskit and capture the beauty of the mammoth statue of Maitreya Buddha. Later, you can spend the rest of the day visiting two other villages, Sumur and Panamik. Dinner and overnight stay in Hunder Camp will follow.

  • Day 5 - Nubra Valley To Turtuk (77 Km / 2 Hrs.)
  • After breakfast, you can leave for Baltistan Village Turtuk – the remotest region of Ladakh. As you reach you can sight a beautiful turquoise river Shyok. This river winds through the valley crossing LOC to enter Pakistan. Towards the end of the trail of the Indian side, you will come across a small place Turtuk which will be the camping ground for day 5. On arrival, you can check into the camps and rest for the day.

  • Day 6 - Day In Turtuk
  • You can spend a day with activities like photography, you can capture beautiful images of local people and the serene village. The entire day will be spent learning various types of Portrait Photography. Later, dinner and overnight stay at the camp will follow.

  • Day 7 - Turtuk To Leh
  • On day 7, after breakfast, you can leave for Leh and on arrival, overnight stay at Leh.

  • Day 8 - Day In Leh
  • On day 8, you can spend the day exploring places like Stok Monastery, Stakna Monastery and photographing some impressive panorama with winding Indus River in the foreground. Later, spend the evening at Shanti Stupa and try creating a time lapse of the city Leh as the sun sets. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.

  • Day 9 - Leh To Pangong Tso
  • After early breakfast, you will be taken to Pangong Lake. A drive towards Chang La 5486 Mtrs. This winding road takes you to Changla traversing through Sakti Village. Stop at the Changla for a quick photograph session and continue your drive down to the Tangtse Village and relax for a cup of tea. As you leave for Pangong you will cross few small villages of Changthang with a view of the Pangong lake. This is a famous blue brackish lake of Pangong which is around 6 km wide and 133 km long. This lake runs through the other side of the Indo-China Border. Once you arrival, you can check in at the Camp near Pangong lake followed by dinner and overnight at the the camp.

  • Day 10 - Pangong Tso To Leh
  • You will be woken early for birding as it is the perfect time to see many migratory birds. You can go for a walk beside the lake or go for a photography splurge on day 10. Later, return to Leh in the second half of the day, this will be followed by dinner and overnight stay in Leh.

  • Day 11 - Leh Departure
  • You will be driven to the airport for your onward flight.
