  • Day 1 - Manali To Sarchu
  • A trip to india Manali to Srinagar Tour starts from Manali. You will be greeted by our executive after which we will proceed towards Leh.

    Enroute Leh, we will traverse across various mountain passes - Rohtang Pass (3,978 m), Keylong(3,350m) and Baralacha Pass(4890m).

    Arrive at Sarchu for dinner and overnight stay. Sarachu is situated on the borders of Himachal Pradesh (Lahaul) and Jammu and Kashmir.

  • Day 2 - Sarchu To Leh
  • Early morning breakfast at the hotel after which the caravan departs for the journey towards Leh.

    Enroute Leh, witness the jaw-dropping sights of Nakeela and Lachangla Pass(5064m).

    Stop for a quick lunch at Pang after which we continue with our journey towards Leh.

    Witness the beauty of Skyangchu Thang which is world’s highest and largest plateau.

    Arrival in Leh followed by checking-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 3 Leh To Nubra Valley Via Khardung La
  • Breakfast at the hotel followed by driving to Nubra valley via Khardung La.

    The drive will take you across the picturesque Khardung La Pass which is the highest motorable road in the world.

    Arrival in Hunder in Nubra Valley followed by checking-in at the hotel.

    In the evening you are free to explore the tiny hamlets of local villages of Nubra Valley.

    Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Hunder.

  • Day 4 - Nubra Valley To Leh
  • After an early breakfast at the hotel in Hunder, depart for Nubra Valley exploration tour.

    The first activity on our to-do list is Bactrian Camel Ride amidst the sand dunes of Hunder which features double humped camels.

    Drive to Diskit which is also the headquarters of Nubra Valley. Explore the local markets of Diskit and 500 years old Diskit Monastery, which is one of the oldest in the region.

    Drive back to Leh via Khardung La Pass.

    Upon arrival in Leh, check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day is relaxing and you are free to explore the town.

    Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 5 - Leh To Pangong Lake
  • Early morning breakfast will be served at the hotel after which the caravan will depart for Pangong Lake before exploring Leh.

    The first stop on today’s itinerary is Shey Palace. The Shey was the summer capital of Ladakh in the past and Shey Palace was the summer retreat of the King of Ladakh. Although now in ruins, Shey Palace used to be an exhibition of the grandeur of Ladakhi kingdom.

    Drive to the quaint town of Thiksey which is famous for its Thiksey Monastery. Located on a top of hill resembling Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet, Thiksey Monastery is a major religious pilgrimage destination for the locals.

    From Thiksey we drive further towards Pangong Lake via Chang La Pass which is at an altitude of 5,486m. Chang La Pass provides an aerial view of the Himalayan valley.

    From Chang La Pass we drive to Tangtse for a hot cup of tea after which we will proceed further with our journey.

    Upon arriving at Pangong Lake, check in at camps and enjoy the mesmerising beauty of the Lake. 5 to 6 km wide and 130 long lake shares its territory with both China and India.

    Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

  • Day 6 - Pangong Lake To Leh
  • Early morning breakfast at the campsite after which you are to free to explore the lakeside.

    In the afternoon, drive back to Leh, before stopping at Hemis Gompa. Hemis Gompa is the largest monastic foundation of Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism in India.

    Return back to Leh, followed by checking-in at the hotel.

    Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 7 - Leh To Sham Valley
  • After a stupendous breakfast at the hotel, drive alongside Indus river on the Leh-Kargil Highway.

    The first stop for the day is Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, which has a very interesting origin story. It is believed that while constructing the highway, authorities came across the boulder which was between the proposed road. Despite multiple efforts to remove the boulder, it didn’t move even an inch. The boulder is believed to have the imprints of Guru Nanak, after which the Gurudwara was constructed.

    4 km drive from the Gurudwara takes us to the famous Magnetic Hill. An optical illusion creates a sense that the road is going uphill but you leave your vehicle, it will go downhill on its own, despite the road appearing uphill.

    From there, we further drive to Likir which is famous for its Likir Monastery. The monastery is situated on a hill in the Likir valley. the picturesque monastery of Likir is a major cultural hub in the region. While driving up to the monastery, you will be greeted by the colossal gilded image of the future Bodhisattva.

    From Likir, drive to Tingmosgang campsite for dinner and overnight stay.

  • Day 8 - Tingmosgang To Kargil
  • Early morning breakfast at the campsite after which the caravan will depart for Kargil.

    On the way to Kargil, visit the Lamayuru Monastery, which is nestled on the top of a hill in Lamayouro.

    From Lamayuru Monastery, drive to Moon Landscape upon arriving, you will realise the reason for the name. The Moon Landscape resembles the Lunar landscape, hence the name.

    Drive to Kargil over Fatu La Pass which is situated at an elevation of 4,111m and it is the highest motorable pass on Leh-Srinagar Highway.

    Arrive at the hotel in Kargil and check-in. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 9 - Kargil To Srinagar
  • Early morning breakfast at 6 after which we will depart for our final destination of the Manali to Srinagar Tour, Srinagar.

    Enroute Srinagar, stop at Drass which is the second coldest inhabitable place on Earth. From here you can have a glimpse of the Kargil Peaks -- Tiger Hill and Tololing Peak, which were the battlefield during India Pakistan Kargil War in 1999.

    Pay homage to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the Kargil War, at the Vijay Smarak.

    Arrival in Srinagar will be followed by exploring the city.

    Dinner and overnight stay at the houseboat.

  • Day 10 - Srinagar
  • After breakfast, we will embark upon exploring the city of Srinagar.

    The first destination on the list is Shankaracharya Temple. Shankaracharya Temple is situated on top of Shankaracharya hills. The temple is devoted to Lord Shiva.

    The next destination is the enchanting Mughal Garden is also known as Shalimar Bagh which is a Mughal style garden, connected to Dal Lake.

    The next destination is the famous Nishat Bagh which is also referred to as Garden of Joy. Nishat Garden is also similar to various other Mughal gardens in India and it is the largest Mughal garden in the valley of Kashmir.

    After Nishat Bagh, we head to Shalimar Bagh. Connected to the northeast channel of Dal Lake, Shalimar Bagh is a Mughal garden which was built by Mughal Emperor Jahangir for his wife Nur Jahan.

    Return back to the houseboat for overnight stay and dinner.

  • Day 11 - Depart Srinagar
