The Nun Kun Peaks enhances the skyline beauty of the upper Suru Valley in the Zanskar Range, Ladakh. The two lofty peaks are separated by a snow ridge of about 4kms in length. Nun is the highest peak on the Indian side of the Line of Control in the state Jammu and Kashmir and is measured to be 7135 high. Nun peak on the other side has an elevation of 7087m. Attempting summit bid on Kun can be extremely enthralling due to the challenging trekking trail. The gradual change in level of difficulty and the mesmerizing landscape view makes this expedition appealing to adventurists. The trekking trail passes through remote villages, rough ridges, and snow-layered paths.
